Ripper...Garbage day indeed.

Inglorious 06-20-2003 12:07 AM

"Wes Craven's" They
Although we know Wes had nearly 0 to do with it! It sucked. Period. What a complicated way to put Darkness Falls if you ask me, that's all it was.

Draven2277 06-20-2003 12:29 AM

i just watched Session 9 for the zillionth time. man, i love that flick.

Resident Evil-bought it today, going to listen to the commentary tonight.

Dehydrator 06-20-2003 06:25 AM

Kickstarted the day with Pumpkinhead, always cool to watch.

Just finished watching Scream and Scream Again, incredible silly movie and pretty uninvolving too. Despite starring Vincent Price, Christopher Lee, Peter Cushing and even Charles Gray all in one, this one's pretty lame. Reminds alot of the old Dr. Mabuse series of films but while it has some ideas with potential and a cool ending it just seems half-assed all around. The people I watched the flick for don't get much to do at all. Not really recommended unless you insist to see everything that features any of the stars mentioned above, like myself.

House By The Cemetary (for the 2nd time)

That scene where the real estate agent gets it in the neck is awesome!! Man, does Fulci loooove close-ups of pumping red stuff!!! :p

pig farmer 06-20-2003 11:52 AM

John Carpenter's The Thing

I feel like watching it again.

Richard Stuart 06-20-2003 11:58 AM

Maniac. I think it was the cut version, but it still had the infamous bit where a shotgun is fired at Tom Savini's head intact. The scene was intact, that is, not Tom Savini's head, which ended up considerably un-intact. :)

X-Nightcrawler 06-20-2003 11:24 PM

I really saw a bunch of similarities between They and Darkness Falls but I think They was much better. Anyway, Glitter was on TV today.....I couldnt watch it. Too much horror for me.

Freddy Prinze Jr I think I am going to have nightmares for the rest of my life.

sherimoon 06-22-2003 11:39 PM

hehehe I liked Scooby Doo. Thats also a bias statement since I am a Sarah Michelle Gellar fan.....but I thought the movie was cute. I would have to agree about Freddie Prinze Jr. though. He was a little too much.

X-Nightcrawler 06-22-2003 11:41 PM
