Carnival of Souls (1962) Criterion Collection and Get a Life Volume 2. My life is now complete.

Today I went the the used video/dvd/cd store that I go to all the time and found myself a cpoy of Changing Lanes on DVD for 13.99. I was surprised to see it there so soon, and for such a cheap price, I bought it without having ever seen it. Hopefully it was a wise choice. Also while I was there I bought The Frighteners, Speed 2 (I know, I know, but now I have both) and another movie i've never seen: Taxi Driver. All the vhs tapes were 3.99. On my way home I stopped at Wal-Mart and picked up Super Troopers on DVD.

Woke up bright and early this morning...and by that I mean 12:30 in the afternoon, headed over to Best Buy and picked up the following:

Death to Smoochy
(Saw it in the theater, didn't particularly care for it, love Williams, thought I'd give it another chance, just watched it again, like it even less, also my most expensive purchase of the day....way to go me!)

(Bought it blind, have only heard great things about it, so expecting to check it out tommorrow and enjoy it)

Monsters Inc.
(Love anything Pixar does, saw the movie on someone's computer (yay pathetic pirating), the DVD has enough great features to merit a purchase and then some)

Panic Room
(Still pissed about it not originally being released in a Special Edition, because I really couldn't wait to own this movie. One of the most entertaining movies of 2002 so far, and I've loved everything Fincher has done thus (Cue the cliched response...Alien 3 notwithstanding.)
