The first time I saw Bob, or Bobcat was that loud and obnoxious guy in Police Academy 2. Then he did numerous movies pretty funny to dood what were you thinking? Now I just saw him as a celebrity guest on VH-1 Tottally Gayer. He looked very frail lookin... :( But he's still active in what he enjoys doing....

He did look like he lost alot of weight. I think my mom even said he looked "cute"...

Yeah for me, either way. I think he's pretty funny.

Anybody that gets to nail Nikki Cox on a regular basis can't be all that bad. He's pretty funny most of the time. Yay.

He's fucking great. I enjoy the exaggerated brand of humor that he's so good at bringing across. He's cool. Yay!

"be you angels?"

I wanted to create a thread for him, but I saw that Border made one years ago! I love this guy! I was watching Tales From the Crypt last night, and he was playing a nerdy Ventroquilist.

His voice is what makes him so funny!

I'll add a couple pictures... I love that look on his face. Thats definitely Bobcat.

When I was in recruit training in the Navy, there was a fellow soon-to-be-sailor that was Bobcat's cousin. Her last name was Voorhees. Just like Jason!

She was rad.

In his prime, one of the funniest guys on the planet. Would love to see him make a comeback...

The story his character in One Crazy Summer tells, about the kid who got picked on, is one of my favorite comedic moments ever. The way he delivers it is perfect and couldn't have worked the same with anyone else.

Always found him annoying, more than anything.

Gotta admire the guy though for dating Nikki Cox.

That was pretty funny. I think I remember him mostly from the Police Academy movies - very funny; I haven't seen One Crazy Summer.

I think he was in an episode of "CSI" too; bit part as a comedian who gets murdered.

EVILxxx 04-24-2008 05:04 AM

I always liked him although I wasn't the biggest UnHappily Ever After Fan. I remember one bit he did on standup about his children being something like garbage pail kids and me and my buddy laughed for a solid two minutes. And we would laugh everytime one of us would quote it.

ListersParanoia 04-27-2008 10:37 PM

I love Bobcat, to be honest though I liked him better when he was chubby and really cracked out. He had a special on Comedy Central's "Pulp Comics" that I recorded and I must have watched it 100 times. One Crazy Summer is beyond lame but it's classic :)

Shakes the Clown... any film that starts with Bobcat Goldthwait sitting up to a face full of little boy urine whilst Mrs. Brady is passed out in the other room is destined to be comedy gold.

Seriously... find a copy of his comedy album Meat Bob. I may take some shit over this, but I always thought he was much funnier than Sam Kinison, when it came to '80s screaming comics.
