Aishwarya Rai, IMO is without a doubt one of the most gorgeous women in the world today. I've been infatuated with this Indian beauty for awhile now, and think that not only is she just sooo pretty to look at, she is also a damn fine actress as well.

Aishwarya was an architecture student before she entered modelling as her part time job. She initially rejected the film offers since she aimed to be an architect. However, she was crowned Miss World 1994. And soon after her winning, she again received offers to star in movies. Her beauty and charm made her India's darling. Aishwarya then stormed into the bollywood movie industry, where she set out to prove that she could make a good actress as well. Her performance in "Iruvar" (1997) was critically approved, as well as winning the screen best female debutant award for her role in "...Aur Pyaar Ho Gaya" (1997). She bagged Filmfare Award for best actress for her performance in "Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam" (1999s Ajay Devgan's wife who is in love with another man. She also won rave reviews for her performance as a rape victim in "Hamara Dil Aapke Paas Hai" (2000).
