So let's see next year it will be the Cubs and then after that the apocalypse.

All aside dispite the fact that Cubs fans like jackson13 hate this this is actually good for the city of Chicago since other than the Bulls their spotrs teams haven't done much in a long time.

The Bears haven't done anything in 20 years and it dosen't look like their will do anything any time soon

The Blackhawks haven't won anything since 1961 and have the longest Stanley Cup drought and as long as Bill Wirtz own that team they won't win anything anytime soon.

And of course the Cubs who haven't won anything since 1908.

And while this world series was probably more exciting than last years I just couldn't get into it for the following reasons.

1. I worked and missed the first 2 games and
2. The blown call in game 2 plus MLB telling Houston how to use their homefield advantage pretty much tells me that MLB wanted the White Sox to win ever since the Red Sox and Yankees were eliminated.
