Texas' Young Reportedly Turning Pro
Fresh off a stirring performance in leading Texas to the national championship in the Rose Bowl, Longhorns quarterback Vince Young will forego his final year of eligibility and enter the NFL Draft, according to a report in the Dallas Morning News.
According to the report, there will be a Sunday afternoon press conference announcing Young's decision.
Young's godmother, Yolande Levine, told the Morning News that Young and Young's mother, Felicia, met with Young's pastor, Samuel H. Smith, in Houston on Sunday morning before finalizing the decision.
Young was on his way to Austin to meet with Texas coach Mack Brown to tell Brown of Young's decision, Levine said.
Now Houston has a REALLY hard decision. Draft Bush. Or trade Carr for extra draft picks and draft Young. Personally, I'd go with option 2.
