The Dark Tower book by Marvel is pretty good. The first one is a comic adaptation of Wizard and Glass.
I don't know if this is true, but I read once that Stephen (after the last book came out) King said that the books we have now are like the "first drafts" of the story.
I love the DT books, but I feel the last two were really rushed. Especially the last one.
