Sorry you didn't like it, ilovemovies... it seems that stop-animation just isn't your cup of tea, as I obviously love the two other movies you mentioned as well as this one.
By the way, in my original review I totally forgot to mention the absolutely fan-TASTIC musical score by French composer Bruno Coulais. Magical, creepy, and totally, perfectly befitting the movie in every way possible.
