Well, back in the day, before DVDs, yeah, it was the place to go because it had the biggest selection of widescreen VHS anywhere. Back when nobody knew what the hell widescreen meant. I remember they even had a stand alone section just for widescreen tapes. It was hilariously small and pathetic, but it was always growing.
But over the years, the store kinda went to shit. Everything was over priced and all they wanted you to do was join their stupid rewards program and reserve movies you could find for ten bucks cheaper across the street at Best Buy.
I do miss the little section of figurines and collectibles they had. Mostly because they always had too many and would clearance the shit out of them and you could get stuff for dirt cheap.
