I hope that Waltz is capable of not playing a one-dimensional character. I haven't seen Water for Elephants or Green Hornet yet, but I heard his character was slightly different in Water for Elephants, so I'm just keeping my fingers crossed.
Once again, it could just be fangirl bias, but I am completely confident in Tarantino's ability to direct Waltz into the character he needs him to be. Samuel L. Jackson is, probably, one of the most exciting parts of this movie.
How do you guys think this movie will be without Menke? This is Tarantino's first feature without her as editor.
