Death is prolly the best death metal band which had actual meaningful lyrics that you can also comprehend and out-of-this-world musical skill.
Don't get me wrong , i like old-school death metal bands like Obituary , Cannibal Corpse , Deicide , Morbid Angel and the like but DEATH is in a class of its own.

Right on! I'm a big fan of old-school death metal too, but Death is definitely my favourite metal band.
