A joyous, witty, exuberant, spectacular piece of pop art. The balance of the characters is executed in a way that makes this feel like a true ensemble piece. Whedon not only understand these characters and crafts them with humanity and hilarity, but he proves himself to be an excellent director of action as well. If you thought the other Marvel movies were lacking in big budget spectacle... watch out.
It is just incredibly fun. It feels like a comic book on the big screen.
