Just got back after finally catching it on the bigscreen and really liked it. Seems the general public has choosen Tim Burton for their cinematic whipping boy this year, judging from some of the reviews it got. I donīt see any reason for it though, sure it wasnīt a perfect film but good standard level for Tim Burton. I have only seen House of Dark Shadows from 1970, which I didnīt find impressive so I got no loyality to the source material whatsoever. The comedy was good for the most part and I thought Depp (naturally) and Eva Green were fantastic. Well worth the ticket money for my part.
