God Bless America

Hilariously dark and twisted. Plays itself out a bit toward the end but it's representation of American pop culture is surprisingly dead on. It plays on the dark thoughts we all have when we want to beat the shit out of the asshole kids in a theater, or open up a can of whoop-ass on our jerky neighbors. The characters in this film indulge in the darkest part of this urge, but its still hilarious to see it played out. I can see why people would hate it, and wouldn't agree with it's politics. But I didn't see it as leaning either toward one political viewpoint or another. Lefts and Rights got blasted equally, it's more about how humans are just shitty fucking people.
