House of Wax (1953) – Vincent Prince gives a good performance playing a sculptor who after losing his work in a fire and becoming disfigured seeks to rebuild his museum with human bodies. Solid film that influences future horror movies like Waxwork. Price is reason alone to view the movie as the dedicated tour guide who prides himself obsessively on his work.

Freaks (1932) – Tod Browing’s infamous film which was banned for several decades which depicts the murder plot of two human circus performers on an unsuspecting midget and the fellow freaks extract their revenge. The film still holds up and is unsettling due to the evils of human nature. The conclusion is well staged.
