Rose Madder by Stephen King

So far I'm on Page 210. What a fuckin' good book so far. I may even go so far as to say great. King really gets into the head of Rose well. It's a good thing when authors, especially male, can do that.

That said, King is the shiz.

I thought it was a great book until the husband goes in a direction in the end that is like sooooo many other characters in his books.
Why does King feel like throwing in people that just 'go crazy' near the end in order to cause crazy rampages before the story ends?

Other than that, ROSE MADDER is a well written book that I remember enjoying a lot when I read it back in 1997 or '98.

One of the few King books I hated. I'd rather read Dolores Claiborne. Same idea but done in a vastly superior way to me.
