War and Peace
I'm feeling really ambitious and want to check this out. The only thing I know about it is that it's considered one of the best novels ever written, and it's really really long. Having read Tolstoy's other famous work "Anna Karenina" and loved it, "War and Peace" seems logical to be next. For those who have read it, opinions?

I remember reading this in high school and only being able to get to the quarter or so point. I've never given Tolstoy another chance, but I was only 14 at the time. If you're into topical political party situations then you'll enjoy at least a portion of this

Not many people know this, but the original title of "War and Peace" was actually "War, What is it Good For?"
