I actually much prefer Music for the Jilted Generation. That album blew my mind when I first heard it. Fat of the Land ended up somewhat disappointing afterwards, though I like some of the tracks.

Yeah, the whole thing with them in the 90s was weird. They were pretty much touted as the next big thing before they had really done anything at all mainstream. And when you looked at it, they really weren't doing anything remarkable in that genre - there were plenty of contemporary bands doing the same kind of thing, but The Prodigy got singled out for some reason.

I just didn't keep up with them afterwards.

This is a weird coincidence becauseI thought I'd recently seen something about a new parody of Smack my Bitch Up from the POV of a dog. Now I can't find it so maybe I dreamt it. I don't know.

But yeah, I even liked Always Outnumbered, Never Outgunned. Their mixup album Dirtchamber Sessions is always fun to throw on at parties or on a drive as well.

They're not really gone, they're just not relevant anymore. New album sometime next year.

They were the first band that got me on the path of electronic music.

But... FOTL is my favorite album, and Narayan is my favorite tune.

I prefer FOTL as the definitive Prodigy cd .... one of those rare cd where if you like 1 song , you like them all. No fillers !

Liam got an inflated ego after that and ruined everything.

at least Invaders Must Die was good .... but The Prodigy worked best with 2 singers ... bring the black dude back aka Maxim!
