RIP Harry Carey, Jr.

I was saddened to hear that Harry Carey, Jr. passed away late last year. Probably not known to too many of today's audiences, but he was a staple of several John Wayne and John Ford westerns back in the day - he was usually the lovesick sap that died halfway through the movie . . . see The Searchers and Red River.

Today's audiences will probably remember him as the old sheriff in Tombstone that met a sad demise by Curly Bill. He was also one of the old geisers in the saloon in Back to the Future III. I believe he was the one who said, "You better run, Squirrel."
