Olde schmoes (pre-2003); oh Christ, Inside-Out Bear is coming!!!!!

For those schmoes that have been posting for at least two years and know what the hell I am talking about, I give you this frightening and cryptic information found this morning on the web. It's happening! It's happening! Run for your lives! Run for your lives!

"About 2,500 fish collected from 260 bodies of water from 1999 to 2001 showed the presence of mercury, the report said. The toxic metal can cause neurological and developmental problems, particularly in young children.

The report was prepared for Clear the Air, a joint campaign of the Clean Air Task Force, the National Environmental Trust and the U.S. Public Interest Research Group. The study recommended more restrictions on mercury emissions from coal-fired power plants.

Seventy-six percent of the fish samples exceeded EPA's mercury exposure limit for children of average weight under the age of three, the report said. And 55 percent contained mercury that exceeded the limit for women of average weight, it said. The report assumed that people in both groups ate fish twice a week."

Don't go in the woods! For God's sakes, don't go in the woods! I ain't steppin' outta my 'burb for all the fucking tea in China!!!

The scary part of this it that some of the test were conducted in my home state and county of Mercer, PA. It was in the paper a few days ago. So, much for my recipe of Sole, stuffed with shrimp, garlic, and almonds. (Yes, I can cook,)

NOOOO!!! I am NOT Talia Shire! I am NOT Talia Shire!
And on top of all that, a local news broadcast interviewed this teenager last night, who 7 yrs ago was attacked and dragged out of his tent by an "abnormal" bear. It was the anniversary of that attack and they interviewed the kid to see how he was doing It was a big deal here 7 yrs ago and sent shivers down my back. Now - ironically - they interviewed him just after I find that 'contaminated fish' article.
Coincidence?...................................... .................................................. ...............................I think not.

My favorite is the term "the OP's" as in "original people."

Wow. Frankenheimer must have been reading to much Nostradomus. Hehe. That or maybe he faked his own death, contaminated the water, and attacked a kid in a bear costume in order to boost his movie's infamy... He's probably hanging out on an island with Elvis and Ed Wood Jr. laughing his ass off right now.

I smell sequel....someone will get wind of all this environmental stuff, the story about the bear, etc., and feel it is long overdue for "environmental horror".....I mean, it is isn't it?

A bunch of teenagers try to hold a LARP campaign outside of Bangor, they encounter conflict with the local Native American tribes looking to expand their pull-tab casino when out-of-nowhere! Strange sleeping bag deaths start to occur - and who should come back to assist them but none other than - Robert
Foxworth returning as Dr. Verne - now a hermit in the woods living like Ted Kaczynski or Nick Nolte on a three-day bender!...yea....he's back see - preparing for the day when Kahtadin returns up from the primordial sludge spilled out in the lakes from the printing presses from all them pull tabs see!...yea...yea.....

I've totally lost it....I know.....that's what happens when you can't sleep....ya can't sleep....cause Kahtadin...see.....

That idea is ACTUALLY pure gold.

Only it could be like "Aliens" to Prophecy's "Alien", with massive mutated fish and gophers and things.

"Dear God, it's happening again! They've all got FREAKISM!"

This Thread should probably just be Locked. What JoBlo once was should never be intersected by what JoBlo now is.
