So, who else has been reading these since they were a tweenie? I read them several times as a kid and recently treated myself to them again. I tend to prefer them to The Lord of the Rings books because I like the characters more but there are lots of similarities. Do you think the movies would be risked now that LOTR has been such a huge hit? The similarites might be too overwhelming...I don't know...
