As you all know I like to post the latest mpaa ratings for various movies, whether their exciting for an anticipated movie, or surprising. To ensure that I don't have to keep making new threads about new mpaa ratings, I will post them every week in this thread to keep everyone that is interested up to date

I am a little surprised at Charlie Wilson's War, a pretty hard R, for a film that looked like a PG-13 or a light R. Disappointed in The Eye, but its not a surprise at all. Get Smart actually got hit with a PG-13. It looked like a sure PG. Awesome for The Pineapple Express, and Promnight + PG-13= disaster.

Not just Prom Night, but The Eye get PG-13s. Any horror movie with a PG-13 rating will not see me in theater seats.

Teen horror? You should say crappy horror to bring tons of moviegoers to see a butchered film. Oh please let those films flop hard like The Golden Compass.

The original Eye was pretty tame so maybe that's why it's PG 13 here...even though this looks like shit compared to the original.

Midnight Meat train , is this the movie about the butcher that worked at the supermarket on the night shift ? When the trucks came to deliver the goods , he had to take the meat in the rear .

It was never R. That was a hideous rumour spread by the oh so clever Dragula.

Damn. I guess Rachel Bilson won't be "expanding" on her somewhat nude scenes from The Last Kiss - very, very close in that one.

And Cloverfield being PG-13 doesn't mean anything.

Cloverfeild supposed to be a gigantic monster movie reminiscent of the old 50's giant monster movies. Those didn't have or need gore, and neither does this so the rating doesn't bother me one bit.

Is the strong bullying for Drillbit Taylor a joke, or has the MPAA rated movies for that before.

Prom Night being PG-13 is gonna suck (even though I don't really plan on seeing it in the first place). Cloverfield getting that rating doesn't bother me. Giant monster movies don't have much room for gore and I don't think any of the characters are going to stop to film themselves having sex.

I always expected Cloverfield to get a PG-13 anyway. So the change doesn't bother me.

But didn't someone say it was R? Did it change or was it a mistake?

Midnight Meat Train is going to kick ass.

I'm actually kind of surprised about Get Smart. I thought that would be rated PG.

I'm a little disappointed that 21 is PG-13. I was hoping for an R for that one.

- PG-13 is fine for me as well, but there never was a change.

- Dragula said it was R, he was just trying to grab some attention. It was just a big lie.

- Ditto

- Myself as well, the trailer looked very PG.

- Yeah, the trailer for 21 is great, but I thought it would be rated R

There was no way in hell anyone could expect Alexandre Aja to make a PG-13 rated movie anyway.

That makes me very sad.

Oh, well. The movie still looks very badass. Disappointing but I guess I'll have to live with it.

At least Mirrors and Bangkok Dangerous should be nice.

And when the hell does Killshot finally come out? I've been waiting for that movie since foooooooorever!
