kinda odd that you get multiple copies even if just the sticker is different, but you dont have both die hard steelbooks. : )

i know im alone but...

i dont know if i really like steelbooks. imo they seem easy to damage and hard to replace a few examples of this are when i got my die hard steelbooks i had to pick up like 4 copies of each before i found one of each that wasnt dented. or when i droped my boondock saints and dented it and to top it off the disc poped out and scrached. i noticed yesterday that the corner of the i am legend steelbook i got is dented. which kinda pisses me off because i called myself checking it.

maybe its just me? has any of this type of thing happened to you guys?

i thoroughly scan dvds for the most pristine copy, i have dvd shelves, and also carpet.

If anyone is interested I found one for sale on Ebay.co.uk for £29.99 + shipping. Its not the same design as the U.S/ Canadian version but it does the job. Its Korean R3 and the sale runs out in just over a day so HURRY

You do realize not one of those movies are actually a steelbook, unless there is some odd regions 2-4 steelbooks I don't know about. Steelbook is a name brand, just because you have a DVR doesn't mean you have a TIVO.

I think the majority of them are steelbooks. There's a bunch of region 2 steelbooks that I've only heard of recently. I'm jealous that they got a Sin City steelbook

i was wondering about that... i noticed the one i have isn't as colorful as that one or another one i saw at best buy... are there 2 versions?

Nice! I wish I had gotten that Departed one when it first came out...Im working on it right now. I just ordered both grindhouse DVDs last night. Just out of curiosity, why don't you have death proof? I only ask because I see planet terror in there.

i actually found the departed at moviestop of all places for freaking 8 bucks... couldn't find it anywhere else... what a find... i don't have death proof 'cause the best buys around here don't carry it... i'm visiting a friend of mine further north soon and i saw online that they have them at like 3 different bb's around her lol

i have close to 600 DVDs all together, many of which are sealed. unfortunately i work 6 days a week (today being my only day off)...i've been trying to watch atleast 1 , sometimes 2 dvds when im off.

im definately a collector, but wish i had more time to watch them haha

Haha, I'm the exact opposite....as soon as I am in my car any DVD's I buy are open. Part of my reasoning is I don't want to get home only to find a scratched/defective disc. I also just like to see what comes in the case, especially with special editions. It also doesn't help that I am 20-30 minutes drive from any Best Buy, Circuit City, Moviestop, or FYE. I have a Wal-Mart about 10 minutes from me, but I only really use it for the $5 rack and occasionally an exclusive on a new release.

haha, i hear ya...I'm within walking distance of Wherehouse Music, 5 minutes from both a Walmart and Best Buy, and theres an FYE in the mall across from where I work (although its a ghetto-ass mall and i never go there).

Yeah the only saving grace for me is that I am in the same parking lot of Circuit City when I am at work, and right down the street from a Best Buy....but I don't work tuesdays so I go the other direction where I get both plus Moviestop and FYE, but yeah its like 20 minutes on I-75 to get to either area.

How do you store yours? Mine around 32 steelbook (including the figures) weights around 20lbs...

Thats why I have it at the bottom part of my DVD shelf
