I just read on another forum that there may be a Suncoast (I'm guessing all TWEC) release of the restored Godfather in steelbook!!! that would be nice. i would definately get the steelbook and sell my other Godfather collection off it this is true.

What is the deal with the new set coming out? Are the movies changed or just cleaned up? I would love a godfather steelbook, but 50+ bucks for a double dip that I already dropped a good chunk of change on when it came out is something I will only spend if it is absolutely worth it.

completely restored with a transfer supervised by FFC. I'm skipping the steelbook and going with the Blu.

While the steelbook would be awesome....I just don't think I can justify that 50 bucks to myself. Had they released a saga (chronological cut) on steelbook I would have bought that sumbitch in a heartbeat.

im torn on this one. i love the movies, and have luckily never bought them, and with my recent upgrade im for sure going blu. However if it really gets a steelbook i may do something crazy like get the blu and the steelbook, and store the blu IN the steelbook. im doing that for iron man.

they're all readily available (in my region anyway) but for some reason the transformers ones still sell for decent on ebay if you went that route

On the old thread I posted an idea for Batman steelbooks I read on another forum....tonight I found the R2 covers for the last release of the Batman movies and they are exactly what I had in mind. I imagine raised lettering/symbols with a metallic sheen on the color in the middle:

That Beautiful Steelbook of IRON MAN is actually from the X-BOX 360 game, that is available exclusively at www.game.co.uk. I have it on order (i dont even want the game, just the box) Its better than any of the upcoming?? steelbooks because it has NO writing on it, nothing at all except IRON MAN on the spine. It comes with a plastic/ cardboard slip over that has all the writing on it.
On a different note i have spare copies of Cloverfield and Indiana Jones Trilogy (both R3) if anyone wants to trade. I'm after Fantastic Four Rise Of The Silver Surfer, Cars, Spider-man 3 (dont even require the movies, just the box) Battlestar Galactica, I Am Legend (Blu-ray SB) (again dont need actual disc, just case) or the upcoming Terminator, Sarah Connor Chronicles. I'm based in BKK Thailand but will happily ship worldwide.

I have just acquired that beautiful Iron Man Steelbook and it indeed looks even more stunning in the flesh, so to speak, cant wait for the Blu-ray to put inside it. I have to say the simple design (no writing of any kind except for Iron Man on the spine) looks alot more impressive than that artwork for FYE with the oversized Iron Man motif. Just need to flog the Xbox 360 game that came with it.

This is good enough for me! I'm just glad they didn't put the whole suit on the front or the poster art. It was a cool poster though, I hope that's on the inside....that would look sweet.

The artwork is still cool. Better than having the entire cast on it like the standard case.

Low on funds right now so I havent picked anything up recently. Starship I'll contemplate getting, but this would mean buying the first two as I am pretty much, for the most part, a completist.

Trilogy pack from Best Buy. Not a steelbook, but the figure does looks pretty sweet. It would have been my second choice since I am not crazy enough (in a good way) like Xage to buy multiple versions on the same day.

oh the trilogy... lame. if it came in Blu I would have gotten that but it's just gonna be the first on blu for me with the steelbook on dvd of 3.
