Wednesday Friday Addams (Christina Ricci), The Adams Family & Addams Family Values

Before I even knew that I liked girls (or even boobies, for that matter), I knew that I wanted Wednesday Addams in my life. Period.

Brenda Strong (Amy Adams), Catch Me If You Can

She was just so fucking sweet and innocent (well,.....seemingly. she did have an abortion).
I don't know why though, but she just did it for me....

Most recently would be....

Poppy (Sally Hawkins) in Happy-Go-Lucky

The single most lovable, engaging, and genuinely inspiring 'optimistic' character in years, who thanks to Hawkins' Oscar worthy performance is always grounded in reality and never once becomes overbearing. The fact that she reminds me of my own kindergarten teacher from way back doesn't hurt either.

Hahah my first thought went to this character, but then I realized that I'm a much more miserable bastard than I give myself credit for and I'd probably end up being the guy at the bookstore in the first scene more than enjoying her company all the time.

It's sucks, but I have a really hard time meeting guys who stack up.

There was this guy too.

Yikes, half my men are dead.

OK, I just forced myself to think of someone alive and recent and here he is

realistically:

Watching the detectives, I love this movie.
He's just the type of dorky movie guy I like. Of course his devil eyes are pretty hot though.

I just love this guy to bits, he's Nigel on Crossing Jordan and I love charming, tall, dark, Englishmen.

Unrealistically,

The Jane Austen heros of course, played by anyone.
Doctor Who
The villains, I'd love to be a villains girl.

Celine (Julie Delpy) in Before Sunrise/Before Sunset

Honestly, what more could you want? She's smart, she's interesting, she's spectacularly good looking (and looks after herself, if anything she's more beautiful 9 years after we first met her), she writes good songs and sings them beatuifully. She's fucking perfect.

Stephanie (Charlotte Gainsbourg) in The Science of Sleep

I could have put almost any of Gainsbourg's characters here, it's her voice you see, it's the sexiest thing I've ever heard and it provokes a pavlovian response in me, making me fall head over heels for her whenever she's on screen. Stephanie is enchanting though, an irresistible combination of smart, silly and sexy as hell.

So my question is have you ever been emotionally attached to a character in a movie that you said "hey, I could spend the rest of my life with that person"? A character that just resembles everything that you could want in another person, but haven't ever been able to find.

She is tough, sensitive, beautiful, mature and sexy all rolled together.

Kate Winslet From Titanic.

Charlotte Gainsboroug is the ultimate for me; French, feisty, French, high-maintenance, passionate, French, artistic and...just so fucking French!. 'The Science of Sleep' only made me fall harder.

Her album '5:55' wakes me up in the morning, too. She will be mine...

oh Amelie Poulain, how I love you.

oh and Skyler (Minnie Driver) from Good Will Hunting, as mentioned above, did it for me too. But one of us would have to change our name.. that would just be too damn difficult

Adam is definitely my first choice. I was madly in love with his character when I first saw the movie and was completely obsessed with Untamed Heart for quite awhile. Like, watched it every day obsessed (I was in seventh grade at the time). But I still love him. I do like my men sweet and damaged.

Other choices:

Doug Holt (Joaquin Phoenix) in Inventing the Abbotts
Frank Abignale, Jr. (Leonardo DiCaprio) in Catch Me If You Can

I don't know if I was obsessed but I liked it a lot.

Joaquin Phoenix in Inventing The Abbotts, what a sweetheart. I can't believe I forgot about him and I saw that movie again not too long ago.

I agree with those especially Sydney and Michelle

I gotta add Amy Adams (Bonnie) in Charlie Wilson's War. She is just such a likeable chick any ways in pretty much every thing she does
