Polish Movie Posters (very weird)

I don't know if it's been poster before, but here are some sites with a bunch of Polish movie posters on them. Polish posters are often very weird and look like they have nothing in common with the movie. Some of them are also cool as hell.

For instance... Romancing the Stone:

Commongate - unfortunately, these are not labeled, so it's pretty hard to figure out what some of them are.

Retro Crush - a cool collection of the more famous posters.

Polish Poster - a shop full of posters that are, sadly, pretty expensive

Why would anyone polish a movie poster? Unless of course they mean laminate-

Oh. Holy facetiousness, Batman! But seriously, before I get a punch to the throat for being an annoying dick, I concur - these. are. AWESOME. Though some are quite disturbing when they probably shouldn't be. When I look at that Muppet movie poster, for instance, I don't see a cuddly stuffed creature who wants to be friends, I see a deranged escaped mental patient who's been living in the woods for weeks and wants to eat my face with a side of deer droppings and pine cones and wash it down with a refreshing cup of moose piss.

And that Gandhi poster looks like someone resurrected ol' Mahatma to be the villain in the sequel to Virtuosity. Which, to be fair, does sound like a better idea than another Resident Evil sequel.

Wow, these are badass. Each one of them seems like it was concocted under the heavy influence of psychedelic drugs..

I actually purchased two Polish posters last year.

I framed 8 1/2 and Lars Van Trier's Idiots.

I love their posters, their amazing works of art.
