Top 5 Disney/Pixar Movies

Everyone knows the only couple hotter than Brad and Angelina is Disney and Pixar. Here list your top 5 creations from the animation kings

5. The Incredibles - Great little story, a little too similar to Fantastic 4 though.
4. A Bugīs Life - It takes a great movie to make you wonder about every ant hill you walk by.
3. Wall E - Gotta root for the little guy, I loved Wall E.
2. Finding Nemo - The only movie I always take on the cross country trips to watch in the car with the fam.
1. Toy Story - A breakthrough in animation, great cast, great story, by far teh best of D/P.

Itīs a shame they pulled the M. Night Shyamalan and did the best first, Wall E was pretty great though.

Pixar is such a strong studio that Wall-E did not even make the top 5 and that is a five star classic.

5. Cars -I found the stories & characters pretty much so-so, but no one can deny the extremity of detail in the animation. Pretty friggin' amazing.

4. A Bug's Life - Very nice details. One of the major things I look for in any animated feature is the character with which they are "drawn" so as to help to convey their personalities. While this had been to almost perfect expertise on the 2-D animation front (to the point where viewers were becoming desensitized, i think), this was one of the "earlier" full computed-generated films that began using it to the high degree level that truly showcased the potential that lied in this field of animation. The distinguishing features that result from wide-variety of the insect world were utilized to full effect for the time that this movie was released.

3. Ratatouille - The idea of combining the points of veiews of both rodent & restauranteer made this great vehicle for using sharper & more creative angles in the storytelling that could only perfection through the use of this medium. For my money, it's where the heart of & beauty of this film is.

2. Wall-E

While not so surprising in that I (we?) expected the details in the graphics of this film to be as detailed & realistic as they were, it's still quite stunning to behold.
And even though the themes of this movie are ones we've seen many times before, I'm always quite surprised how often & consistantly they are able to intergrate the amazing graphics into the quality of the storytelling. This movie is a good example of how at the rate that these types flicks are released, it's remarkble that the ratio has been so much more good than bad.

1. The Incredibles

One of the best voice castings for the lead roles I've seen ( or is it heard?) & it has a great story, full of charm, wit & family chemistry. I always thought that Hollywood never seem to be able to put out 100% in any feature dealing with superheroes, but they really did with this one. The effects are incredibly cool, the over-all visuals are stunning & the characters are all drawn with an equally high level of quality & dynamicism (.... is that really a word?). Added with the "Jack Jack Attack" story on the DVD, & I know that it will probably be a long time before the family "I's" get dethroned from #1 on my list.

Hmm this would be a lot easier if I had a list to look at. My mind goes awol sometimes when thinking of movies but I can tell you I really enjoyed Cars and Meet The Robinsons a whole helluva lot. Wall-E sucked that probably goes down as one of the worst movies ever in my book.

Between Toy Story and Ratatouille I didn't get the excessive praise and love their decent movies enjoyed. Since then, they've been nothing but stellar.
