My Annual Christmas Movie Marathon!
Over the next month and a half...starting tomorrow and ending Christmas day is my annual movie marathon. I do this every year for a couple of reasons. One to revisit films I may have only seen once and two because its so hard to decide what I want to watch half the time. The formula is simple and has remained the same over the years...
I watch every movie I own that came out 5 years ago(from worst to best excluding Christmas films)...so that means 65 films from 2004! I also watch every James Bond film from the first to the most recent. I also rewatch my three favorite trilogys...Indiana Jones, Star Wars and The Lord of the Rings. Finally I watch Christmas shows and films from both the year I'm revisiting(2004) and stuff that came out in the year corresponding to the year of the marathon...since its 2009 I'll be watching Frosty the Snowman(1969) and National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation(1989). The schedule: November 8th-Team America: World Police 9th-Eurotrip, Shrek 2 10th-50 First Dates, The Perfect Score 11th-Mean Girls, The Girl Next Door 12th-Starsky & Hutch, Dodgeball: A True Underdog Story 13th-Harold & Kumar Go to White Castle, Jersey Girl 14th-Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy, Saw 15th-Van Helsing, The Butterfly Effect 16th-Shaun of the Dead, Ned Kelly 17th-Blade: Trinity, The Punisher 18th-The Day After Tomorrow, Hellboy 19th-Cellular, After the Sunset 20th-The Village, Wimbledon 21st-The Alamo, Ocean's Twelve 22nd-The Bourne Supremacy, Hidalgo 23rd-National Treasure, The Manchurian Candidate 24th-The Incredibles, Before Sunset 25th-In Good Company, The Notebook 26th-The Life Aquatic with Steve Zissou, Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban 27th-House of Flying Daggers, Hero 28th-King Arthur, Miracle 29th-Dr. No, Beyond the Sea 30th-From Russia with Love, The Dreamers December 1st-Goldfinger, A Very Long Engagement 2nd-Thunderball, Kinsey 3rd-You Only Live Twice, Closer 4th-On Her Majesty's Secret Service, Garden State 5th-Diamonds Are Forever, Collateral 6th-Live and Let Die, Million Dollar Baby 7th-The Man with the Golden Gun, Fahrenheit 9/11 8th-The Spy Who Loved Me, Hotel Rwanda 9th-Moonraker, Dawn of the Dead 10th-For Your Eyes Only, Spider-Man 2 11th-Octopussy, The Terminal 12th-Never Say Never Again, I, Robot 13th-A View to a Kill, Sky Captain and the World of Tomorrow 14th-The Living Daylights, Ray 15th-Licence to Kill, The Passion of the Christ 16th-GoldenEye, Finding Neverland 17th-Tomorrow Never Dies, Kill Bill: Vol. 2 18th-Indiana Jones Trilogy 19th-Star Wars Trilogy 20th-The World Is Not Enough, Alexander 21st-Die Another Day, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind 22nd-Casino Royale, Troy 23rd-Quantum of Solace, The Aviator 24th-The Lord of the Rings Trilogy 25th-Frosty the Snowman, National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation, The Polar Express Yes I know I have no life, but I enjoy it.
