Hands down the Ennio Morricone score during the showdown between Bronson & Fonda in Once Upon A Time In The West!!! Don't know the exact name of the track but it was perfect for their gunfight at high noon!

The projection room shootout between Melanie Laurent and Daniel Bruhl in INGLOURIOUS BASTERDS.

Hans Zimmer's Vide Cor Meum from the opera in HANNIBAL.

Yeah, I've got that. I like finding extended scores, but sometimes it's just a bit too much to listen to.

If you search torrents for music, look up the name "Libra23" - that guy puts up a ton of rare, hard to find stuff.

This is a fantastic rearrangement of the opening theme and the later 'Angelfish Decayí theme from A Zed and Two Noughts, music by Michael Nyman.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gIL3xu_omFc

A medley from Brick, with music by Nathan Johnson. Emilyís Theme is especially fantastic.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=El8MVp8S9e8

Two from Ennio Morricone: first, the menacing theme of the villain of Once Upon a Time in the West, and the second is the opening theme from The Legend of 1900, and is the best music Morricone has ever written. 3:20 on is aural sex.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LIgNCD3nzOg

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=z52hCAKqV-0

The best 11 minutes of John Williamsís career.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kXd1D3LuVbM

Lastly one by Zafer Tawil, from Rachel Getting Married. Starts at 1:46:37. (You can skip right to it and let it load from there.) Have no idea what this track is called. Itís one of the most beautiful pieces of music Iíve ever heard.

http://www.megavideo.com/?d=65M8RNXT

Others I love are the recent Abel Korzeniowski score for A Single Man, Nina Rotaís for La Strada, Nymanís for The Piano, Philip Glassís for Mishima: A Life in Four Chapters, Clint Mansellís for The Fountain, Alexandre Desplatís for The Luzhin Defence, and the also recent Giacchino and Zimmer scores for Up and Sherlock Holmes respectively.

Actually, Iíll leave it at that: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NqFVC5N0dPQ

surprising lack of mention for Quentin Tarantino movies.. IMO you could just take your pick from any of his soundtracks, theyīre always awesome

I agree whole heartedly, Tarantino uses music to the point where i literally always associate the songs to the scene. A rare thing to do when using pop singles and tracks from other movies.

Unfortunately they aren't tracks from a score, which implies music composed specifically for the movie itself. Tarantino, with the exception of one or two RZA tacks for Kill Bill, always uses songs and tracks from albums and films that have been released. His work would be fit for a list of best soundtracks, but not of best tracks for a score.

there are good tracks on here, i'll chime in some more later.

That is indeed the best track in what is a pretty incredible score, and my favorite of 2010 so far as well, and definitely set the bar pretty high. Which is interesting, because I had never really thought too much about John Powell as an industrial, low-key, not-particularly-innovative-or-memorable composer, but his work on How to Train your Dragon really soared. A lock for an Oscar nomination for sure - it will be his first (and deservedly so)!

1. Elephant love medley- <Moulin Rouge>. This song combines about 10 classic songs from different age. And it sounds like a conversation that was so appropriate to the plot development! In addition, it was sung by the real actor and actress. Their voices were so beautiful.

2.A whole new world-《Aladdin and the Wonderful Lamp》.
I like this song track so much because it the melody is so wonderful that just can express the emotion in the movie.

3.Sealed With a kiss-《Rebecca》
The song itself just can indicate the sad ending of this story.
