Even though I really enjoyed Half Life 2, I just really wasn't getting into Episode 1. I put it down a long time ago.

I recently acquired a Neo Geo - the system I've been coveting for almost 20 years. Picked up Magician Lord and Samurai Showdown. After all these years, I almost still can't believe I finally own this system.

Can't wait to get my hands on The Super Spy.

Anyone with a PS3 needs to at least check out Joe Danger.

Maybe the best down-loadable game I've got, ever. (Including Mega Man 9&10) That may be a bit of an overstatement, I'm 75% done and I love every second.

singularity

by the numbers shooter using the tired unreal engine and published by activision

still it's better than metro 33! pretty sure i'll complete with ease and it could end up quite good fun. a shooter to pass the time

Playing "Wet" on PS3. It's a fun enough game, but the obstacle courses where one mistake is insta death can get really old really fast.

The actual fighting parts are pretty fun though. Reminds me of the Matrix video game from many years ago.

Edit: Also I only bought it to begin with because it was only 18 dollars on Amazon.

Lesson learned: games for sale that cheap so soon after their release are that cheap because they suck!

Zombies when I'm at my GFs computer... (I've also kinda abandoned Kingdome Hearts for the DS... not really a fan.. )

resdawg I thoroughly enjoy your avatar. =P

Lately the only game I have been playing is Starcraft 2 beta. Everything else out right now is pretty "meh."

Although I am looking forward to the next generation of MMOs that will be coming out within the next year. FF14 coming out in September and has actually been getting really good reviews. Guildwars 2 looks great also. Star Wars is still kinda "meh" at this point so hopefully they can make it worthy of it's name.

The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess
So far (probably because of my love for shapeshifters) this is fast becoming my favorite Zelda game.

Yes, yes it is. I'll take Midna over Navi any day. Speaking of which...

The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time
Good God, this game plays a million times better with a Gamecube controller.

Never beaten any of the Halo games' campaigns before. It's a lot of fun, but there are way too many sections in levels that are just the same room repeated over and over again. The repitition is kind of ridiculous and makes those sections seriously not fun. The two parts in particular that were just asinine in their repititiveness would be the levels Assault on the Control Room, and the Library. Other than that, I enjoy the combat a lot, and the story is pretty decent.

crackdown 2

as a fan of the first which i played in the first year that the 360 launched, the first couple hours playing this were fun, but so far there doesn't seem to be much variety to the missions and that it's also disappointing that you are located in the same city from the first game. i prefer this type of game, more pick and up play to the likes of an rpg but i doubt i will bother completing, especially since i have galaxy 2 coming in the post tomo

That was always the biggest complaint against Halo - specifically the Library level, but I actually thought it added suspense and tension to the whole level. Just when I thought I was done, another wave came. (BTW, there is a "wink-wink" level in Halo 2 that has another library.)

I think the introduction to the Flood is just about the best thing I ever experienced in a video game. That whole level was so creepy.

Question for anyone who has NCAA Football 11:

Does the game feature any South Dakota school? If you are Nebraska, is the schedule correct?

i certainly like the look of it but seeing that i have yet to play through a turn based rpg, (closest being shen megami devil survivor) i have my doubts it will keep me interested. will likely put it down for last window went it gets released next week!

oh and i am playing batman brave and the bold ds. disappointing

I dont' have the game, but I would assume SDSU because it's Division I... although it's been Division I for several years now and I'm not sure if SDSU has been in the games. Haha, I guess I'm not much help after all. I'm just curious why do you ask? Do you live in SoDak? I grew up in Brookings, where SDSU is.
