Yay for From Paris with Love, The Wolfman and Daybreakers getting the R rating. Not that I ever doubted.

And It's Complicated got an R rating? Wow, did not expect that. Unless they win the appeal. But they better hurry. The movie comes out in just a couple of weeks.

Thank goodness the Nightmare on Elm Street remake didn't earn a PG-13 rating.

The Losers a PG-13 rated movie? C'mon i've read the comic books and were published by Vertigo comics which is a mature oriented comic book publisher and sister to DC comics and they're giving a semihard comic book based movie? Epic fail!

this hasn't been updated in a while! So i'll add some ratings I happened across:

Saw VII- R "Sequences of Grisly Bloody Violence and Torture, and Language"

The Girl Who Played With Fire- R "Brutal Violence including a Rape, Some Strong Sexual Content, Nudity and Language"

The Expendables- R "Strong Action and Bloody Violence Throughout, and for some Language"

The Last Exorcism- PG13 "Disturbing Violent Content and Terror, Some Sexual References and Thematic Material

Salt- PG13 "Intense Sequences of Violence and Action"

Dinner For Schmucks- PG13 "Sequences of Crude and Sexual Content, Some Partial Nudity and Language

Life As We Know It- PG13 "Sexual Material, Language and some Drug Content"

I was a little disappointed in the rating on Dinner For Schmucks, i was hoping that would be an R rated comedy. I still figure it is going to be hilarious though!

I'm glad The Expendables got a R-Rating. I kept reading that Stallone and the producers wanted an PG-13 but you can't make a homage to 80's action movies and have it be PG-13. I'm glad they came to their senses.

Hmm. I too am a bit bummed about Dinner for Schmucks - I was also hoping for an R-rated comedy (I'm one of those people who think that cursing is just inherently funny). And while I'm still not very interested in The Expendables, to Stallone's credit I will say that at least they went for full-on 80's action retro with the R rating. Good for them.

next batch of ratings:

Due Date: R- Language, drug use and sexual content.

Red: PG13- Intense sequences of action violence and brief strong language.

The American: R- Violence, sexual content and nudity.

Unstoppable: PG13- Sequences of action and peril, and some language.

The Beaver: PG13- Mature thematic material, some disturbing content, sexuality and language including a drug reference.

Glad to see Due Date get an R rating, same with The American. Unstoppable is another Tony Scott/ Denzel flick, so PG13 was expected. And who knows if The Beaver will ever see the light of day, with Gibson's public image taking the beating it is.
