back says:

Saints Off Script: A rare look at the Saints having fun on set while cameras aren't rolling.

Back to Boondock: An exclusive tour before the film is created with the cast and filmmakers.

I saw steelbooks for all 3 POTC blu-rays at my local Best Buy. Are those fairly rare? They look kickass, but I just wanna know if they're OOP or rare so I can buy them.

Also, is the Boondock Saints 2 steelbook a limited quantity item that'll be sought after soon?

they may be after the stock runs out.. but right now i see them all the time at Best Buy stores! I dont think anyone is ready to drop $35-$40 on a Steelbook packaged Blu Ray when the same exact title is on sale (and has been) for $12.99-$15 other places!

for me.. I can't lie.. the Novelty of Steelbook has worn out a bit! I still enjoy the cases.. but with Blu Ray, i buy Blu Ray over specially packaged DVD's... perhaps when there are more Blu Steels.. but even then, i think im done with the rushing out to make sure i get the steelbook and then paying an extra price for it!

yeah you are correct, but holding a bluray steelbook in 1 hand and the sherlock holmes in the other, i can't really see any dif, maybe a little wider of a spine, any changes aren't really noticable.

Ultimate Machine Girl 3 disc collectors "tin" july 6th...but seeing as how the last 2 asian movies tokyo shock put out in an "ultimate" version were steelbooks (versus and death trance), im gonna go ahead and assume it will be as well.

I noticed this thread kinda died off. Are they not making these as much any more?

Are they not making an Iron Man 2 steelbook?

I have read that the Target Iron Man 2 is not going to be a steelbook but some other type of metal case like an Ironpak, tin, etc.

Steelbook overproduction?!

The Inception Steelbook will be the very next one that the 'Collectors' (Very Loosely termed) will pitch a "Pup Tent" over, will salivate over, just like a crackhead over the remaining residue gunked together in the bottom of pipe (Just guessing!). If it's New, let's gorge ourselves like the Romans, then go to the local Vomitorium, let your fingers to their duty, then go back to feasting yet again (Those Romans were some extremely sick, perverted, vile, wicked, and Ungodly human beings). Anywho, I recently hit up a local FYE for some 'research', and by my arithmetic, there was at very least 15 or so Brand New steelbooks of "The Dark Knight" and you check this, all for $14.99!!! Shazzam, Gadzooks, Heavens To Mergatroids, and Zoinks!!! Don't get me wrong, they look nice, feel cool, are a true 'High-End' DVD item, but the real shame is that the studios are overproducing these products, just like the Sportscard Industry did, has done, and continues to do so, till this day in time. Overproduction kills any chance at true Collectibility! You done heard it here first and foremost! God Bless All, Merriest of a Christs-Day!

Inception Steelbook

I'm jealous as a MoFo, concerning Boston. I live presently in Jerkwater U.S.A., or as I like to put it, The Cultural Wasteland of America, New Jersey! Ever since I visited Boston years back, I fell immediately in love with it, so much History, Culture, Class, Quaintness, Scenery, that place can't be beat! You should consider yourself truly blessed living there! Anywho, I done purchased up one of these Inception Blu-Ray Steelbooks, even though I have no love at all for anything Blu-Ray, to me it's just an expensive 'other' hobby. I actually picked up the last one remaining at the local TWEC round' me. I'm just fixin' on turning it real quick like, no only Steelbook that I did real well with was "The Boondock Saints" one. Simple, Strict, Solid!

Someone may be willing to part with one... however, in my local FYE, they are still selling the Steel Book of The Dark Knight and have a ton of copies for around $15

So perhaps if you have an FYE or Suncoast near you, you can check them out

Damaged steelbook

I just rec'd my Dark Knight steelbook from amazon.ca and it was heavily damaged. Front cover was dented and the hinge/spine was broken and separating. I can barely open it without it separating from the front and back covers. Frustrated as I've had my eye on it for some time.

I have both also and have been debating on selling them. I'd say that you'd likely get about $20 each. Mostly because everyone is chasing the Blu-ray steelbooks.
