ID a horror film about a giant brain

What was the film from what I assume to be late 80's to early 90's where there is a scene of a giant brain or was it a giant head chasing some kid or a girl through some halls. I remember that scene the most, that is my only memory of this film which I, all of a sudden, want to watch!
