I Hate Len Wiseman! (small rant)

Short rant here. And most probably old news as well. But I really hate Len Wiseman. He gets to pork his fork in this all of the time. See below pic for further details

Yeah, it sucks that he poached her from the more talented Michael Sheen after he had an 8 year relationship with Beckinsale (plus Wiseman had a marriage of his own).

A person's love life is their own business so I couldn't care less about him "stealing" Beckinsale away from Sheen. Besides, it didn't happen like that, at least that is what Beckinsale says. Do you think Sheen would continue to do work with Wiseman in the Underworld movies if that is what had happened?

All I care about is the movies that a filmmaker makes and thus far, between the Underworld movies and Live Free or Die Hard, Len Wiseman is cool with me!

But as far as Die Hard 4 goes - despite being rated PG13 - I dug the film.

Let me elaborate on my earlier post. When I think of the Underworld series I think of wasted potential.

The story of the first one was by far it's biggest fault. A vampire/werewolf hybrid? Really?!?!?! It would have been much better just keeping to the war with the werewolves gaining the upper hand after so many centuries of getting beat down.

Not a fan myself. He is like the Nickleback of directing. Really mediocre at best but somehow keeps putting out hits and banging hot chicks. Blows my mind.

That's actually a brilliant analogy. He's mediocre in every way. There's no daring sense of creativity that shows he's an actual artist. Just a director-for-hire using blue filters and watering down franchises until the studio feels they're safe enough for a mass audience.

I actually like all 3 of them. In fact, not too long ago, when I watched the second film for the first time in a while, I was surprised by two things: a) how good it was and b) how violent and gory it was. It's a pretty hard R actually. You got scenes where the warewolves are tearing their mouths apart!

Kinda not fair to hate on a director that had all the intentions of making an R rated Die Hard film, with the backing of Bruce Willis (more known) but to which the studio had the final say. His previous two directing efforts weren't PG13. Rating, no rating. The guy isn't horrible.

Len is just a studio director with no vision.

He rips off other directors and will gladly take a dump on a good movie series (Die Hard)
