Name your worst horror sequel!

What is the worst horror sequel you have ever seen in your life?

For me, one of my most hated films is The Descent 2. How could you make a sequel that unwatchable to a masterpiece?!?!

Masterpiece? I fucking hated The Descent. Ugh.

Anyway, I don't know.... I guess I'll go with NOES 5, it was fucking awful. I liked Freddy's Dead, because it had Freddy's back story incorporated into that mess of a film, which I actually enjoyed.

Yes. Definitely. This is the worst movie I've ever watched, right behind Cannibal Holocaust and I Spit On Your Grave.

The Dream Child rocks, very underrated IMO. Now Freddy's Dead? That's a whole nother story, easily the worst of the Elm Street series.

Rec 2 is like Aliens to Alien.

Off the top of my head though, looking at some of the bigger franchises, I will always hate Halloween III. I'm actually surprised by just how many people seem to like it now, based on what I've seen online. But I'll take Resurrection over it anyday...even if it's just for the first 10 minutes.

BUT the WORST sequel I've ever seen is Hellraiser: Revelations. It's a disgrace to one of the top Horror icons, a disgrace to the Franchise, a disgrace to Clive Barker and a disgrace to the fans. Fuck this movie and everyone involved in making it.

This. I love the Dream Child.

My worst sequel, oh God. This is a tough one...I'll get back to the Thread on this. I just had to jump in to defend The Dream Child.

Worst Sequel

Mirrors 2 comes to mind. The first one wasn't exactly a cinematic masterpiece but it was entertaining. Mirrors 2 bored me to tears. I barely stayed awake through the whole thing....

Rec 2 is like seeing a cute baby, then looking at the babie's brother and seeing that it's the baby from Dead Alive.

From Dusk Til Dawn 2: Texas Blood Money

Jason Goes To Hell was indeed a joke, but I still enjoy it. I generally enjoy all of the sequels, especial Jason Takes Manhattan.

The Ring 2...The first one was sooo good it was disgusting how bad the second one was. So much potential to be good. I was pissed I paid money to see it.

Alien Resurrection. They took my most beloved horror franchise and turned it into a SyFy Channel Original.

Resident Evil: Apocalypse - I really enjoyed the first RE movie, it was very stylish and cool. And then...they got an elementary school kid to write the second one?

Anacondas: The Hunt for the Blood Orchid - words fail me.
