Depp might look ridiculous but it's a very accurate portrayal of a Dakota Indian.

I'm really digging Depp's appearance. I don't think he looks a bit over the top at all.

This whole project screams Green Hornet to me. Classic character they are trying to jazz up using a combination of comedy, stupidity and a more inept but loveable lead.

GACK.

Not gonna lie, it looks like a blast. I had my doubts but I trust Gore will deliver the goods.

i watched the teaser on my phone but deeps indian doesnt look like hes gonna be A star in this. his voice sounded cheesey to be personally looks to have some good action though like the fact the bad guy is after a realistic goal controlling the rail network and not something over the top like world domination lol

The overall look and feel of this movie reminds me a lot of the Zorro movies from a few years ago. Take that for whatever it means to you; I liked both Zorro movies.

It's Bruckheimer and Depp. Enough said.

I will be there and I am confident it will be enjoyable.

I'm afraid for this movie....it could bomb so badly that it'll ruin Depp's career forever....not to mention the red face element (white face literally). I wonder who the love interest is.

Well look how good he looks here

Depp is so talentd and it is a shame when he wastes on the pst charaters he has played there has only a handful of his films that are good

Totally. Well Said! Where is the hype for this movie. People love cowboy movies. This look awesome. Best action comedy type since Pirates 1. Can't wait!

I'm getting a Mask of Zorro vibe from the trailers. Maybe a less serious version, but that's what it reminded me of. And that's why I'm excited about the movie.

Saw this last night. Both my wife and I really enjoyed it. Depp was great as Tonto (I was unsure when I originally heard of the casting).

Glad you liked it! And welcome to the forums dude. I was curious how it compared to Pirates and what would you give it out of 10?

I read one critic's review and he said it was good mindless fun which is what I'm craving right now after so many let downs this summer.

It was a fun ride. I'd give it 8 or 9 out of 10. It was exactly what we were hoping it would be.

Not too much.

It was mostly a grounded Western with a dose of Indian spirituality and only a few small scenes with anything I'd call supernatural.
