Alright alright...I wasn't expecting it to be so "actiony" but I'm anticipating it. I hope it's a bit more subtle than what we're seeing. But the acting looks top notch, Pearce sticks out especially. Still have a hard time picturing Shia LeBouf as a grown up.

At first, the trailer started to remind me of The Newton Boys with Mathew McConaughey back when he made cool movies, at least in terms of tone. But then it got darker and more action oriented and intense. Looks fantastic!

This is usually the case with these kinds of movies. The Road had a trailer that made it look action packed, but anyone who had read the book knew it would be anything but. There will be action, but no more than say Miller's Crossing. They need to sell it to an audience given its summer release date.

This looks epic. In fact, dare I say, IMO it looks like the best upcoming gangster flick (based on the trailers/clips).

Yes to me it even looks better than Killing Them Softly or Gangster Squad. That trailer really got my blood pumping and something about prohibition and tommy guns just trumps what the other two upcoming gangster movies have to offer.

Now the fact this stars Shia and Tom Hardy while Killing has Brad Pitt, Ray Liotta, and James Gandolfini. Or Gangster Squad with Sean Penn, Ryan Gosling, and Josh Brolin make me think it may just be a really good trailer. Because on paper, this one can't compete. But damn if that wasn't a great trailer. And again, prohibition and tommy guns. Plus they do have Guy Pierce.

But who can complain when we are getting not one, not two, but THREE big time big budget big stars gangster flicks. Yeah, I'm fired up.
