Looks awesome and intense, the cast is top notch and I honestly don't mind Shia when he is not in transformers. This could be pretty damn good.

Alright alright...I wasn't expecting it to be so "actiony" but I'm anticipating it. I hope it's a bit more subtle than what we're seeing. But the acting looks top notch, Pearce sticks out especially. Still have a hard time picturing Shia LeBouf as a grown up.

Oldman AND Pearce as bad guys? I'm SO definitely there!

At first, the trailer started to remind me of The Newton Boys with Mathew McConaughey back when he made cool movies, at least in terms of tone. But then it got darker and more action oriented and intense. Looks fantastic!

Can't wait for this.

Great cast, serious roles, perfect period in time to tell a story. Have no doubt this will be one of the best films of the year

Gary Oldman lighting up that car with the Thompson gave me chills. This movie is right behind Batman and Prometheus for me.

OK, phew

People who have seen an early screening say that the marketing for that trailer is all wrong because it's not as action-guns of navarone-packed as it appears to be.

Thank. God.

This is usually the case with these kinds of movies. The Road had a trailer that made it look action packed, but anyone who had read the book knew it would be anything but. There will be action, but no more than say Miller's Crossing. They need to sell it to an audience given its summer release date.

This looks epic. In fact, dare I say, IMO it looks like the best upcoming gangster flick (based on the trailers/clips).

Yes to me it even looks better than Killing Them Softly or Gangster Squad. That trailer really got my blood pumping and something about prohibition and tommy guns just trumps what the other two upcoming gangster movies have to offer.

Now the fact this stars Shia and Tom Hardy while Killing has Brad Pitt, Ray Liotta, and James Gandolfini. Or Gangster Squad with Sean Penn, Ryan Gosling, and Josh Brolin make me think it may just be a really good trailer. Because on paper, this one can't compete. But damn if that wasn't a great trailer. And again, prohibition and tommy guns. Plus they do have Guy Pierce.

But who can complain when we are getting not one, not two, but THREE big time big budget big stars gangster flicks. Yeah, I'm fired up.

Shia LaBeouf, Jessica Chastain, and Tom Hardy talk Lawless. They talk about their participation, how LaBeouf got convinced for the role, and what he had to do to get Hardy to get on board.

That and more - http://wp.me/p2CCWq-1Ds
