Need help from those Schmoes that knows....

Trying to find the name of this movie but only have vague clues to point towards its identity. (Smell the mystery?)


Okay, so:

It's a movie in black and white BUT it could possibly have a color sequence thrown in

It's about Persephone and Hades (the Greek goddess chick that liked pomegranates ALOT and ended up with the lord of the underworld?)

Had dancing sequences in it

And there was a part where there was a carnival with a South American theme to it



I am stumped, fellow Schmoes.

I can't much help you, Rusty, but I can say that as a fan of Persephone it has piqued my interest quite a bit. I Googled and glanced through her listed "appearances" on Wikipedia, but didn't come up with any trails worth following.
