I've never been so excited for a film. I was pumped for TDK, but this is on a new level. What's crazy is I didn't even care much for it 60 days ago. TDKR never really released any details, no production stills, no synopsis, tv spots, etc. So I figured the movie was going to be "okay" and never really anticipated it. However, the last 30 days have been crazy with Bat info.
Can't wait!

For people who are going to see the whole trilogy opening night at AMC theaters here is how it is going down.
Starts at 6pm with Batman Begins. There is a 25 minute break before The Dark Knight Then a 45 minute break before The Dark Knight Rises. Tickets are 25 dollars for 2D. $40 for Imax. I am considering watch the trilogy. But I am betting I work that day. I guess I could try to watch it while I am at work. If I went to another theater (which I want to the one work at is small) I would have to actually pay to get in instead of watching it for free. I am not looking forward to this film that much anyway. But it is Batman.

I don't know if I would go so far as to say it's my most anticipated movie of all time but there are only a handful movies I can think of that I was this excited.

I dunno. Not to sound like a troll, but the trailers have been extremely underwhelming.
That said, I trust Nolan, and really liked the first two movies (actually think over time, Batman Begins has become a little underrated). So I'll be seeing this, if not opening day, definitely opening weekend. But I can't say I'm as excited for this as I was for other movies.

Well , you can have the best trailer in the world ...but the movie could be the biggest pile of shit ever created. Trailers should not be considered on how good or bad the movie will turn out.

For me, Nolan's track record has been impeccable, and that's what has me most excited/optimistic for this. He tries to one-up himself every time, and this film (as it appears in TV spots/trailers) seems to play into those expectations for me.
I got my trilogy tickets, and I can't wait!
