Overseas traven do you ever misjudge the signs while traveling abroard


Well l wanted to start this thread on overseas travel l know most of you have traveled overseas

Have you had trouble getting around and reading the signs that are supposed to guide you while traveling


I know every country is diffrent and it would be interested to see what you all think about this study

I don't travel. End of story for me. Reason is I can't afford it. Biggest trip for me in the last few years has been to my capital city (40 mins by bus), and that's it. Besides, it's potentially dangerous to go overseas as well. Dunno. I'd love to travel abroad, and see the world. But there's just too much insecurity on my part.

But America is becoming a cheap place to visit God Of War
I know Australia is becoming expensive because of our high dollar
But l do agree with you that going overseas these days can be dangerous if you do ont have a guide with you

Oh l have another link on weird laws regarding diffrent things you should know while traveling


Ah overseas travel and signs and now this grins

I would be interested also what you think of these weird laws

Most of the highway and street signs on Thailand are written in english letters, so it is easy to follow. Have not had one issue

Geez that is good that the street signs in Thialand are written in english
I always thought thay they wouldnt be like this

When my brother went on his honeymoon in America he said the roads were huge and there were so m any lanes
In Australia it si not like this plus we drive on the left while in America you are on the right

What l also find that is strange is when you are at the steering wheel you are on the left where in Aus we are on the right

Is there places in America where you shouldnt visit if you are a tourist

Anything that is not on either the East Coast (New York , Florida ) or the West Coast (California , Oregon , Arizona , Nevada ). Not because it's unsafe but because it's just plain boring.

Oh so we have some boring areas where you should visit

Well in Australa there is plenty of places to visit

I have been to Sydeny and Adelaide

Adelaide would be there state l dont like

All it has going for it is that it has lots of old churches
