Soundgarden's first new studio album in 16 years--"King Animal"

While the album name doesn't sound all that great to me, the preview tune embed at the link sounds extremely rocking.

Bring on November 13th!

The first single "Live to Rise" from the Avengers OST is a pretty good rock song and it gets plenty of airwave on my local rock station yet i am not convinced.

For me , Soungarden will always be

Jesus Christ Pose

and to a lesser extend

Those are good songs from Badmotorfinger but IMO I think that album has a lot more to offer then those 2 songs..You also are forgetting the incredible Superunknown..Soundgarden has always been one of my favorite bands so I really look forward to hearing what they have in store on this new album

Apparently a new single could be dropping as soon as next week:

(hennemusic) Soundgarden recently revealed the title of their forthcoming new album will be "King Animal." Now, a new report suggests a new Soundgarden single is on its way.
The Pulse Of Radio reports "Been Away Too Long" will be shipped to rock radio stations next Wednesday, September 19.

The band's first studio release since 1996's "Down On The Upside" is tentatively due November 13.

Well the album is out. Glad to say it's even better than I expected it to be.

Standouts for me so far are "Bones Of Birds" and "Worse Dreams".

Anyone else check this out yet?
