Looks quite good. Affleck looks to continue the trend of directing consistently solid work.

I can't quite tell the tone of the film from this first trailer because it seems to switch gears completely halfway through. But I like Affleck as a director and the cast is stacked. I will definitely be seeing this.

I felt the same way, but it still looks great.

I guess I can see the tonal shift, but that seems more like plot progression.

I'll still be seeing this no matter what. I'm actually very curious to see what Ben does with The Stand.

Not feeling it...but Ben Affleck is on a roll so it might turn out to be really good.

Looks like a serious drama meets black comedy, interesting.

Based on Affleck's previous effort, I have faith in this too - and from the looks of the trailer it's looking quality.

Looks excellent and I agree with what is said above, Affleck is turning out to a damn fine director. Seems to me he is channeling Eastwood a little bit.

Looks incredible. It's about time Affleck gets a nomination for Best Director.

I think he will be this time around. This kind of stuff seems right up Academy alley and the trailer was aces. Everyone looks sharp, the story is solid and Affleck's direction appears to be, again, very assured.

I'm stoked for this, big time.

I'm there. Big fan of The Town and Gone Baby Gone, I'll definitely check this out.

Definitely looks like it could be Ben's best outing yet as a director although Gone Baby Gone was great. But this looks really great. Man, so many movies coming out this fall look amazing!

I posted a link about the true story behind this four years ago right here on Joblo, talking about how this would be a great idea for a movie. There probably isn't anyone more happy about this movie getting made than me. I just hope it lives up to how I imagined it in my head.

Link from four years ago!

And to be warned, the article will obviously have some spoilers.

I'm definitely in. Gone Baby Gone was great, and The Town was a solid, if a bit lacking on repeated viewings.

Still, I like what I see.

Whoa, did you see that Tweek predicted this film would be made into a movie four years ago?! Pretty crazy!
