Horror Podcasts
Does anyone know any good podcasts on horror films? I've heard a few on Horror Palace Network and Killer Reviews but have not been super impressed. I'm into film criticism and so I'm looking for intelligent conversations on horror films, not a guy in a basement telling you how "cool" a movie is. Not saying that's what HPN and KR did but you get the point.

One of the best out there is DeadPit.
Two fans from Kentucky who have a (near) weekly podcast; been doing it for nearly seven years. They've had interviews with film directors, convention promoters and actors. Very politically incorrect, if you're offended easily - don't listen. They give honest reviews and break downs to movies. Though last week's show didn't have a DVD/Blu-Ray review(s). Check them out... DeadPit radio. |

Not quite sure if this will fit your requirement, but www.spill.com usually have some good things to say about movies in general, and they seem to love a good horror flick. I generally go for their audio reviews but the animated ones can be a hoot.
We're in the process of putting together a weekly podcast, but we tend to cover Downunder horror and books. We're thinking of 20-30 minutes with a Downunder horror flick, a book, and one of the latest horror releases covered each episode. The true terror here will be my Trans Tasman accent, I both strangle vowels and talk with a Strine accent ![]() |
