It's a pretty average cash in actually. Like radikill, I went to see the original 'Final Destination' with low expectations, expecting the usual crappy 'Scream' cliches, and thought it was one of the best horror movies ever. I still watch it now and never tire of it. There's an interesting storyline and suspense all the way through. The original is a classic and I give it 10/10.
Sadly (as usual) the same cannot be said about this sequel. There's no way it outdoes the original either, nowhere near! It's just an excuse for setting up death scenes and playing them for laughs. None of the performances are particularly convincing and people do the most idiotic things: a routine that became more and more ridiculous as the sequels went on. It is however the least embarassing of the sequels and for that reason I give it 5/5.
