The Campaign: Extended Edition (2012) (10/30) Full Press Relase

The 2012 Jay Roach directed comedy “The Campaign” starring Will Ferrell and Zach Galifianakis is coming to Blu-ray Disc on October 30th in an “Extended Cut” via Warner Home Video. The film co-stars Jason Sudeikis, Katherine LaNasa, Dylan McDermott, John Lithgow, Dan Aykroyd and Brian Cox. Tech specs for the release include full 1080p Hi-Def video in the 1.85:1 aspect ratio and DTS-HD 5.1 Master Audio sound. The release will come in the form of a “combo pack” with a DVD and UltraViolet digital copy of the film included. The title is already available for PRE-ORDER over at Amazon with a $25.19 price tag. The bonus materials set to be included on the release are listed below.

Nice.. cant wait to own this.. it was really hilarious and i was glad to see Jay ROach back to making funny movies after the terrible Dinner For Schmucks.

(Granted he made Recount and Game Change for HBO and those have been really good)

special features are a bit lackluster. Im glad we get an extended cut of the movie, but no behind the scenes stuff. The Gag Reel and Line o Rama should be good though.

I just looked it up cuz it seemed like a real short window: This movie is coming to home video a mere 2 months and 20 days after its theatrical release!

It wasnt a bomb in theaters was it?
