Most Awesome Facial Hair: *My First "Super Schmoe" Post*

My fellow Schmoes, today is one of the greatest days of my life. If you look at my post #, you will find that I am now, official, a "Super Schmoe!" I join the ranks of many of the greats on this board and come one tiny step closer to King Schmoedom. I must say, I'm very proud to be around such cool, intelligent, and all-around awesome cinema fanboys. You all inspire me!

Now that my self-indulgence is over, I’d like to introduce my first thread as a Super Schmoe-- hopefully this meets expectations of a thread worthy of such a label. Anyway,

What filmmaker or actor has the most awesome facial hair?!

Don’t just limit this to beards currently growing. Feel free to mention beards/mustaches/sideburns that once existed. However, make note that this is for actual facial hair, not glued on fake stuff-- this is the real deal. There are many contenders guys/gals, this could be an awesome competition.

One of my favorites:

Congrats!

As far as my favorite facial hair goes, I would say Jason Patric in Narc.

I was always partial to Tom Cruise in the Last Samurai. He pulls off a layered beard very well.

Agreed about Patrick in Narc-- he has never looked more like a bad ass:

Great mentions, everyone.

Here are some more of my favorites:

Brad Dourif's handlebar mustache from Deadwood:

Billy Connoly's little 'stache in Lemony Snicket

Congrats man, I remember the feeling of joy when I finally hit Super Schmoes status.

As for facial hair. Kurt Russell was rocking a truly badass 'stache in Tombstone.

That's easily the most epic 'stache film of all time.

Welcome to Super Schmoehood, FireCaptain. Feels good, don't it? Like...like a, like a slice of butter... melting on top of a big-ol' pile of flapjacks... yeah.

Tony Stark, Robert Downey Jr. (Iron Man)

I can't fuckin' wait for my beard to grow back in fully so I can try this out myself.

I can't grow a beard 'cos it starts to go red after a few millimetres; which looks a bit odd on me, as I have brown hair.

When I am a bit older, though, I'm going full Joaquin Phoenix: The Rap Years.

Crazy years Steve MacQueen, especially when he was being interviewed on TV and said 'You talk so hip -you're twisting my melon, man,' is also acceptable.

How has nobody yet mentioned... THE BEARD himself!!

Although some of his peers had thicker or crazier beards, nobody can come CLOSE to the bad-assery that is THE Beard:

Another great one is the guy in Knocked Up. The one who they are constantly joking about and comparing him to the unibomber.

Jack Bauer in the first hour of season 2. And Charles Logan in season six.

You know, I really do not blame the posters for not searching for this topic first, but it amazes me how often this topic actually is posted in these forums, lol.

Ah, that's my fault. I should have searched, but I simply couldn't recall a previous thread for this.

Please accept my apologies.
