Yeah it's excellent driving music. Also great background music for working, I frequently listen to it while video editing. Nujabes did a lot of the music for Samurai Champloo, if we have any fans of that show here. Unfortunately he died in a car accident a couple of years ago. He was in his early 30s, so we missed out on a lot of great music.

The song "Feather", that piano is so great but the melody reminds me so much of fairly popular song from the early-90s (?) and it's making it hard for me to just chill and listen. Not the whole line, just a portion of it, namely 2 notes...

Cool song! I think I've heard that sample in other songs, or maybe I've just heard that one before and didn't register the name. I never linked that with Feather, but I can see the similarities.

Oh I kept repeating the "feather" piano line and ended up searching Google for songs that sounded like the Imperial Death March. That led me to White Town.

I'm all for communicating bands you love. I discovered great music throught forums and stuff. Actually i'm usually more open to discover new music on a personnal level than say "This music is awesome because it's highly recommended by Billboard magazine".

Music is like religion ... you can talk about it but just don't go after people that don't like what you like. I learned this lesson a while back when i dated this girl i met at a Van Halen show but then i forgot i had my Obituary cd in my car. That relationship ended quickly lol.

Does this mean you're breaking up with me? I'm not familiar with Billboard magazine, I discovered Nujabes because I was a fan of Samurai Champloo, and I thought the soundtrack was excellent. I'm just putting it out there for any interested schmoes because he's fairly obscure in the states.

I don't understand how I'm shoving it down anybody's throats, I simply linked to several videos, nobody has to listen to them if they don't want to. I remember when I heard about his death. I was just scrolling down wikipedia only a few months after he died, and I was shocked and disappointed upon hearing the news.

I know, his death hit me pretty hard, I believe he was only 32. I always think about all of the wonderful music he would have created if he hadn't died so young, it's a real shame.
