Yeah, that was very awkward, but also funny. Why couldn't Louie just tell Ramon he doesn't have any friends and just wanted to be his friend? It's funny because it's a very simple thing to say, but it seemed like it was impossible for Louie to come out and say it.
The episode was very interesting overall though. Another solid addition to what's been a great season so far. I have to say Louis C.K. is one of the few people in film/TV who gets Latin culture in a way 90% of the media doesn't at all. |

I don't really have anything to add because I'm just loving this series already.
I thought episode 2 was weird and wrong and completely hysterical. |

I haven't seen any previews, but I have a feeling the next episode is going to be a total shit show.

Finally an episode that ends on a positive note, however I've grown to expect that everything good that happens to Louie usually ends pretty bad. Though that's what I love about this series is how honest it is, and Louis CK just condenses all of this honesty into one or two episodes.

Those bits are all fine 'n dandy, but damn am I loving these last two episodes. Parker Posie is perfect. Was it just me, or did Part 2 looked absolutely stunning. It's like Louis CK is on some Woody Allen / Manhatten / Jean-Luc Goddard / French New Wave type of shit! I totally loved the look. He's really growing amazingly as a filmmaker.

Funniest episode of Louie ever? It's certainly up there.

But yeah, "Barney/Never" is definitely one Louie's best episodes. Also, Robin Williams looks really cool with a beard ![]() |

Loved season 1, thought it was hilarious and refreshing, but personally sputtered out in season 2 on the episode where they visit the racist old lady and she died. Not sure the reason, but I just haven't watched another episode since.
I need to remedy that situation, I believe. |

That was definitely the most batshit Louie episode in a long time.

Hold up, did David Lynch, Chris Rock and Isiah Whitlock Jr. (aka Clay "sheeeeeeit" Davis) all just appear in the same episode?

Haha, Seinfeld tryin' to play Louie... not if David Lynch has anything to say about it.
Loved the ending of that episode. Louie feeling happy, accomplished, havin' a walk down the street at night in New York. Not looking forward to this season being over. It's been a great one. Last edited by Bourne101; 09-21-2012 at 09:43 PM.. |

Give this man $10-20 million for a feature film. Put 3 half hour episodes of this season together and it would equal the quality of some of the best films of this year. The finale was incredible. It may be the best episode of television I've seen this year.
