His "friends" did it as a joke when they were all drunk. He's dead so it's their word, but seems to me they weren't really his friends. This would have been torture and doesn't seem like a joke to me no matter how drunk you are. They were coherent enough to be able to pull that stunt off.

Even under the influence of several different drugs would make it unbelivably fucking stupid. The fact that he was just drunk is kind of weirder. Goes a little past the point of laughter like Ryan Dunn sticking a hot wheels toy car up his ass and into that Richard Gere with a gerbil type rumor.

I know, I agree. Not sure what they thought the eel was going to do of course he would be tearing everything up in there. I don't even know how they did it I thought eels were slippery for one thing. What an embarrassing way to go out.

I remember the gerbil rumor but never heard the hot wheels toy one. lol

It's not a rumor. It's a segment in the first jackass film. Ryan Dunn with the help of a condom and some anal lube packs a toy Camaro(I think)up his ass. The reactions he gets from the doctor giving the x-ray and other cast and crew members about the way he walks makes it comedy gold.

I don't think you would have to be a very imaginative person or even think that it's really a giant stretch of the imagination to assume this wasn't the first thing he's had up his ass before the eel. His buddies and him probably got liquored up the previous weekend and started fist fucking him elbow deep to loosen up his asshole knowing that he just couldn't raw dog the eel.

Well I'm not completely lacking imagination I don't think, but in this case what I was referring to was not so much how could they fit it in that way (as the slippery part would actually be beneficial there), but rather just handling what I would assume would be a slippery, wiggly, limp fish with teeth and fitting it through any sized hole - while drunk.

Really I was talking in jest anyway, the whole thing is too ridiculous to analyze too deeply.

The rumor part I was referring to the gerbil. I believed the car thing, even though I've not seen the Jackass films it didn't surprise me.

Crazed Calif. man attempts to amputate arms using saws in home improvement store

I bet no one saw that coming.

Must have been a handy guy.

I wonder if he's up in arms about not being able to finish the job.

Who knew a visit to Home Depot could cost you an arm...

At least it was just a saw and he wasn't carrying any arms.

Actually come to think of it he did arm himself with a saw.

But what a tool.

I'm still trying to think of more puns, I'm stumped and I think I need a hand.

A crafty trio of african-american robbers bought amazingly lifelike disguises from a Hollywood special-effects firm to transform themselves into white guys for a brazen Queens heist — and their get-ups were so good, their victims had no clue they were in masks.
The Brooklyn federal court trial of Akeem Monsalvatge, Derrick Dunkley and Edward Byam opened yesterday with witnesses describing how they were completely fooled.
The perps spent two painstaking months plotting their $200,000 stickup of a Queens check-cashing store last year — and theorized that switching races would help them avoid detection, authorities said.
So the crew turned to well-known special-effects company CFX Composite Effects — which has worked on flicks including “2 Guns” and “Wolverine’’ — for their disguises, prosecutors said.
The men allegedly told company reps they needed the masks for a music video, and plunked down $2,000 for three masks.
The accused crooks were apparently inspired by the 2010 Ben Affleck flick “The Town.”
As in the movie, in addition to donning masks, the robbers dressed as cops, doused the crime scene with bleach to destroy DNA traces, and provided evidence to a victim to prove they knew where she lived in case she squealed.
Brooklyn prosecutors will introduce into evidence a photo of Monsalvatge wearing a T-shirt with a picture of one of the disguised men from the movie. He’s standing next to one of his alleged cohorts in the photo.
Authorities said they also plan to introduce four clips from the film — over the defense’s objections — showing the similarities between the reel- and real-life capers.
“They wore lifelike, custom-made, Hollywood-style special-effects masks that made them look like a team of white men,” said prosecutor Maria Cruz-Melendez.
Intending to appear as white cops, the Queens perps wore the NYPD clothing and badges as they pulled up to a Pay-O-Matic in Queens in February 2012 in a Ford Explorer, Cruz-Melendez said.
The men followed frightened employee Liloutie Ramnanan as she walked inside for work.
“I was scared for my life,’’ Ramnanan testified yesterday.
One crook showed her a picture of her own house and a gun to let her know the robbers meant business, she said.
“I was scared he would have shot me,” she explained.
Within roughly three minutes, the thieves raided a safe and a cash drawer of a total of $200,000 before fleeing in their vehicle.
The bamboozled staffers told arriving officers that they had just been robbed by three white men who had been posing as cops.
The major break in the case came after police discovered an e-mail from Byam to CFX offering a hearty endorsement after the robbery, according to police.
“I’m sending you this message to say I’m extremely pleased by CFX work on the mask,” he allegedly wrote.
“The realism of the mask is unbelievable.”
Meanwhile, the crooks began blowing their $200,000 windfall on pricey Gucci and Louis Vuitton threads, authorities said. One member of the crew even forked over $11,000 for Rolex watch.

An 88-year-old World War II vet who was wounded at Okinawa has died from head injuries suffered in a beating outside his lodge in in Spokane, Wash., apparently by two teenagers.

Delbert Belton, known as "Shorty," died Thursday from head injuries suffered in the attack Wednesday night outside the Eagles Lodge.

Police say they received a call about an assault and found the victim sitting in his car.

KXLY-TV quotes witnesses as saying two black male suspects attacked Belton as he was about to head inside the lodge to play pool. KHQ-TV reports that police believe the assault was a random attack.

Police, who have examined surveillance footage, say they are looking for two possible suspects between the ages of 16 and 19.

A friend, Ted Denison, told The Spokesman-Review that Belton was shot in the leg during the fighting in Okinawa in 1945.

"He was a tough old bird, I'll tell you that," he told the newspaper.

The newspaper says Belton was waiting outside the lodge for a friend because he did not want her to walk in alone.

Hyon Song-wol, a singer, rumoured to be a former lover of the North Korean leader, is said to have been arrested on Aug 17 with 11 others for violating laws against pornography.

The reports in South Korea's Chosun Ilbo newspaper indicate that Hyon, a singer with the Unhasu Orchestra, was among those arrested on August 17 for violating domestic laws on pornography.

All 12 were machine-gunned three days later, with other members of North Korea's most famous pop groups and their immediate families forced to watch. The onlookers were then sent to prison camps, victims of the regime's assumption of guilt by association, the reports stated.

“They were executed with machine guns while the key members of the Unhasu Orchestra, Wangjaesan Light Band and Moranbong Band as well as the families of the victims looked on,” said a Chinese source reported in the newspaper.

Hyon's band was responsible for a string of patriotic hits in North Korea, including "Footsteps of Soldiers," "I Love Pyongyang," "She is a Discharged Soldier" and "We are Troops of the Party." Her popularity reportedly peaked in 2005 with the song "Excellent Horse-Like Lady."

The 12 who were executed were singers, musicians or dancers with the Hyon's band,, the Unhasu Orchestra or the Wanghaesan Light Music Band and were accused of making videos of themselves performing sex acts and then selling the recordings.

The reports stated that both groups have been disbanded as a result of the scandal.

Some of the musicians were also found to have bibles when they were detained and all were treated as political dissidents.

Kim Jong-un, who became leader of North Korea after the sudden death of his father in December 2011, is believed to have met Hyon about 10 years ago and struck up a relationship.

His father, Kim Jong-il, did not approve of the relationship and ordered him to break it off. Hyon subsequently married an officer in the North Korean military and reportedly had a baby, although there are suggestions that Hyon continued to see Kim after her marriage.

Kim's wife, Ri Sol-ju, was also a member of the Unhasu Orchestra before marriage and one theory is that Ri objected to the continuing high profile of her husband's former girlfriend.

North Korea's Communist dictator reportedly purged his own step-mother, Kim Ok, from her post as a senior official in the Workers' Party Finance and Accounting Department as he sought to tighten his grip on power within the country.

She was luckier than Kim Chol, vice minister of the army, who was executed with a mortar round in October 2012.

Kim Chol was reportedly executed for drinking and carousing during the official mourning period after Kim Jong-il's death.

On the explicit orders of Kim Jong-un to leave "no trace of him behind, down to his hair," according to South Korean media, Kim Chol was forced to stand on a spot that had been zeroed in for a mortar round and "obliterated."

An expert on North Korean affairs believes the singer was executed for "political reasons."

"If these people had only made pornographic videos, then it is simply not believable that their punishment was execution," Toshimitsu Shigemura, a professor at Tokyo's Waseda University and an authority on North Korean affairs, told The Daily Telegraph.

"They could have been made to disappear into the prison system there instead.
"There is a political reason behind this," he said, suggesting that the groups may have been leaning towards a rival faction in Pyongyang's shadowy political world.
"Or, as Kim's wife once belonged to the same group, it is possible that these executions are more about Kim's wife," Professor Shigemura added.
What a nice guy.

A Bulgarian man has swum more than 2km (1.25 miles) tied up in a bag hoping to set a Guinness World record, the organisers of the event have said.

It took Jane Petkov some two and three-quarter hours to cross the distance in Lake Ohrid in Macedonia, reports say.

With his arms and legs tied to his body, the 59-year-old swam on his back "like a dolphin", organiser Saso Tockov told the AFP news agency.

The "amphibian man's" average speed was 0.7km/h, Macedonian media said.

"I was very cold for the first kilometre but after that it was all fine - no problem whatsoever," Mr Petkov was quoted as saying after completing the swim on Tuesday.

"Had the water been warmer, I could have 10km or more."

The event organisers said they had properly documented the swim in order for it to be officially recognised as a Guinness World record.

However, there was some discrepancy in local reports over the distance that Mr Petkov had swum while the exact time he spent in the water varied from 2 hours 47 minutes to 2 hours 55 minutes.

Guinness World Records - which registers unusual feats - has so far made no public comment on the issue.

A British man has reportedly died after accidentally drinking liquid methamphetamine from a bottle he thought contained a fruit juice, according to British media outlets.

Romano Dias, a 55-year-old from Cambridgeshire, England, fell ill after consuming what he thought was a fruit-based drink given to him by his daughter, Cambridge News reported. After drinking half a glass, the man reportedly said it tasted "awful" and began complaining of a burning in his throat. He then purportedly said: “I am in trouble here. I am dying, I am dead."

It was later determined the liquid was not juice, but $54,400 (£34,000) worth of pure methamphetamine, according to Cambridge News. The bottle was delivered to Dias' daughter's home some three years ago under the correct address but a wrong name. She kept the package for months and eventually gave it to her father. Detective Inspector Ian Simmons said, due to the high value of the contents, officials believe the bottle was destined for a drug dealer who may have been planning to introduce meth to the area.
