Just snagged Iron Man 2 Blu Ray Combo for $9.99 from Amazon...gonna sell the dvd to my Pops for $5...wasn't a big fan of this one, but I'll take it for $5 overall.

Wow those are awesome deals and pickups sarah! It's funny, I just ordered a set from amazon.co.uk tonight too because it was such an awesome deal. I got this set for $33.00 total shipped from the UK, it's region free, and it's got three discs of bonus features that the set here doesn't have. So glad I waited...

The Alien Anthology on Blu-ray. Should be arriving any moment! Managed to get this brand new for free on Amazon. Just had to get approved for their Visa card and then got $30 off my purchase, plus I had a $20 gift card from a previous deal. Went with the super saver free shipping. Total cost $0.00 Unreal!

Because of the moronic regional encoding of blu-ray's and the long lag in release dates in Oz, end up getting most of mine from the UK. Have just ordered (and waiting on delivery) Taken 2 (BD) Dredd (BD) The Sting (BD), Total Recall (BD) Looper (dvd) & Expendibles 2 (dvd)

Next order will be Man with the Iron Fists, Django (which is due out on disc only a month after cinema release here (late Feb) and probably Gangster Squad - these will probably be US dvd purchases depending on the disc features when they come out. (and probably Last Stand which again is not due a cinema release till end of Feb and it should about be on disc by then).

Then I just need to find time to watch them...

Given that Amazon started charging sales tax for Texas addresses, I don't buy from them much anymore. Instead, I have retailers match them, so I don't end up waiting a week. The last one I bought online was "Michael Jackson: Life of An Icon", because no stores in my area carried it.
